Originally the Swan and Edgar department store, this Grade II Listed building provides retail and office accommodation behind a façade designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield.
About The Project
Dendy Byrne were instructed as project managers in relation to reconfiguration and shell fit out works for the extensive retail unit, which included extensive structural alteration and new retail frontages. We assisted our client with the selection, appointment, and management of the project team to successfully carry out the works.
Dendy Byrne subsequently provided strategic advice with potential retail occupiers, including food hall and restaurant uses.
Our role was later extended to include a review of the development opportunities for the whole building.
Supporting Services
We have supported our client in monitoring the fit-out for temporary use of the large retail space by Green Planet, Samsung and Veuve Clicqout.
